Hi!
I purchased the humble bundle 3 and I noticed that it's available a Cogs version for netbooks.
Is it available also for steam? Or is there a way to run Cogs on my netbbok?

Thanks in advance

If you bought the Humble Bundle, you can install Cogs GO on your netbook with the stand-alone Cogs GO installer. You should see a new button if you login to your Humble Bundle account and select Windows as your platform. It's not available through Steam.

What is Cogs Go? I do most of my PC gaming on my laptop (don't joke it can handle the PC games I like) so is there a point for me to download Cogs Go? Is it an entirely different game than Cogs proper?

I would think it's Cogs with the graphics and effects toned down for netbook hardware.

That's correct. Cogs GO is basically the iPad version of Cogs ported to netbooks and laptops with low-end graphics capabilities. You can either buy just Cogs GO from Intel's AppUp store here: http://www.appup.com/applications/applications-Cogs+GO

Or you can get it as part of the Humble Bundle: http://www.humblebundle.com

An option to turn an "Cogs Go" mode on and off would be very nice for the Steam version. My netbook can't handle the normal Cogs at all.

See:

It is unfortunate, but you can still just DL it from the website.

I know that COGS GO is not available on Steam and i have read this thread. It was just a humble idea for a future update.
