Is it possible to backup save files?

Hi,

I'm playing Fate of Atlantis, and I have to switch computers to continue playing. I backed up the game and restored in the new computer, but the save file is missing. I tried just copying and pasting the entire game folder and did not work.

Is it possible to back up the saved files or should I start at the begining again?
