Playdead-16:10 support on PC please!!

Come on guys we all love this game but no 16:10 support is a little lame most PC gamers will not have a 16:9 display so if you could please look into patching this small thing along with an option to disable force feedback (I know I can edit the settings.txt file to false).

Thanks for the info, but honestly, who cares? I also have a 16:10 (bought two years ago) monitor and I don't see the reason why I should accept this answer only because there are not much 16:10's around nowadays. How hard would it be to simply add a new resolution?

On the other hand, this is not really a problem with Limbo, since it is pretty dark, it is hard to see the difference.

I disagree with 16:10 being dead. Yes 16:9 is cheaper to make and easier to buy but if you want to spend the extra cash for an IPS 16:10 monitor they are still easy to find. I have the Dell U2410 24” IPS panel and I will never go back to a 16:9!! (No offense to 16:9 users!)

All of the games I have bought in these past months still support 16:10 (for PC games) and will continue too!
(I cannot think of any other game that I have recently purchased that does not support 16:10. LIMBO is the only one I can think of so far!)

I agree with the OP and wish Playdead would add the 16:10 option, but for a small indie game I don't think it will happen. I don’t mind the 16:9 in LIMBO, but if it was an FPS or MMO then it would.

I grow tired of ppl bashing us 16:10'ers. Get a clue, 16:10 is an awesome standard for alotta things outside of games, and should be supported properly in games for those of us who choose to go with it.

Stop punishing the few who choose to be different.

16:10 really is the better ratio. Wanna know why? Because it's closer to the actual aspect ratio of your eyes.

browsing the web with a 16:9 aspectratio is a pita, everythings seems crushed if you used a 16:10 display once.

I have a 16:10 monitor as well (1680x1050) and the worst case scenario is some small black bars at the top and bottom. Certainly not a huge issue when compared to some games trying to stretch out a 4:3 ratio making everything look terribly distorted.

Why does it matter if the game is only 16:9? 16:10 isn't going to let you see anymore. If anything the sides will be cut off and you'd actually be seeing less.

I have 16:10, and I just needed an upgrade and ended up getting this. Chose to be different? I just wanted a monitor.
