Keyboard Problem

ive just bought the game off Steam and have a problem from the start.When i go into game i can use the little screens to buy the tractor and storage and plough even a helper to get started i assign the farm hand to plough the field.Ok now i close the screens that i buy things from ,the farm hand takes off to plough the fields and im left stuck where i started,then the game dosnt recognize any keystrokes(Logitech G15) from my board at all.Funny that i can use keyboard to insert activation code at start but nothing after that,it reads my mouse cliks, anyone had this prob before or any ideas?
