Hi everyone. Like explosions? Course you do! That's the best part of chemistry.

Here's several puzzles along the theme of combustion. I'm still working out which ones are solvable [includes cycles/symbols] and which aren't. Feel free to post your own solutions as you solve them.

After trying hard enough, I've concluded that 102 and 103 are impossible. I'm leaving them up for posterity, on the off-chance that you like impossible challenges, but adding more bonders to make it easier. They're still hard, though.

202 (Ethylene) [664/1/60]

203 (Acetylene) [1036/1/51]
http://www.spacechemthegame.com/share/QFPJb02k

106 (Formaldehyde) [377/1/43]
http://www.spacechemthegame.com/share/Abvivgus
(Side question: Is formaldehyde naturally combustible? I don't see why not, but I don't have any available to try.)

After trying these for enough time, I've figured out that the real limiting factor is the need to undo a double bond on O2. This became really obvious with 203, when I had to move one O atom to make H2O and and four to make CO2. These things are hard to balance.

On the subject of combustion, here's one I whipped up with the production editor:

It's methane, ehtane, and cyclobutane as random inputs, with water and CO2 as outputs. I have superbonders enabled, but it's possible without them.

Edit: played around with it, and cut ~100 cycles and two symbols.

I have solved 102 in 1845/1/129... but at least it works. Now I will try 103.

Wait, how? I spent forever on those. I must insist on pictures.

here is my solution to 102. It is not as efficient as cake>pie's solution, but at least it works.
