Curious about today's sale...
Elder Scrolls Pack is listed at 67% off.
Pre-ordering Skyrim will supposedly knock another 33% off of the pack.
Is this a multiplicative discount (89% off) or additive (100% off... free.)
Obviously one is significantly more appealing in this case, especially considering I own both Morrowind and Oblivion on CD already.

Has anyone out there pre-ordered Skyrim and able to say for sure?
I hesitate to pre-order myself just due to how leveling was handled in Oblivion... but the prospect of getting both previous titles tied to my Steam account is a very tempting one.

It seems, if you preorder Skyrim, you will get Oblivion and Morrowind for free :O

Which is easily changed with various mods. :D

by 33 percent I think they meant off 15 USD, not adding the 33 percent to the 67 percent.

Yeah I got fooled by that... I preordered Skyrim thinking I would get Oblivion and Morrowind for free, but the % just went to 78% off

Yup. Two words: "Oblivion XP".

Anyway, still a nice bonus for pre-ordering.

The pack is the same price as Morrowind itself. I bought the pack (already have Oblivion on Steam) with the hope I could gift Oblivion to a friend ... Guess not. And the game has disappeared. Ah well, cost the same as Morrowind (which I was after).

When it asked you about installing the games you bought, did you leave both boxes checked? (the ones for which games you want to install).

For something else I was getting, if I unchecked any games I already had, I got gift-able copies. If I left them check, they disappeared.

Yup, With mods you can change every last detail in the game to preety much anything, from adding stuff, to re-texturing and upgrading graphics, to every last bit of the game settings and mechanics. And that's why I love Oblivion. So I can't wait till Skyrim releases, gana be basically the same and some with better graphics. Oblivions max is like Syrims out of the box graphics it looks like from the screens.

I don't think I checked it. The mail I received about the order only said TES Pack.

Not all duplicate games can be gifted. Sucks but that's how it is >.<
