Driver out of date?

Well i did it!

I recently picked up SHV new for pennies (thank god) and can i play it? can i *&^%! On installation the system evaluater gives me green lights across the board except my driver version. Now my drivers are bang up to date, so what is going on here?

Can someone please help with this? if it means rolling back the driver version then iv'e thown away £5 and thankyou Ubisoft! (because that's not gonna happen)

I have the latest driver ( nVdia ) and have no problem, played it today afternoon and had no problem playing for hours.
I guess it's something else, however game was already installed...

I have never heard of this problem but either search here or in Ubisoft forum.
Maybe trying to revert to a old driver to install and then updating the drivers could solve it but I do understand what you mean when you say it's not going to happen. There has to be another way! ;)
The game is well worth £5, at first I didn't like it as much as Silent Hunter 3 but now I play it as much as I did back then with SH3 so I hope you get your problem fixed soon. :)

dont understand what you mean by driver out of date?
