Oddly enough i am really excited about the little things in this game. I love the idea of getting a job and if you can buy houses and stuff like that i am sooo excited.

Its the little things for me, oblivion freakin blew my mind when i could sit down haha i think its all about immersion!

The more normal little things i can do the more i feel immersed in the world, i hope they focused a little time into this as well, by the sound of it they did.

I am also excited about being a thief which is my favorite class along with assassin, i cant wait to raid houses and castles and caves. I love the stealth kills as well! super awesome indeed

I second this notion. I love the fact that you can see fish in the water, which pushes you along when you go in it. I love how you can operate sawmills and smith armour. I love how you speak in Real Time.

Yeah, I hope you can drop your loot and arrange it around your house, also I hope you can pick up random clutter.

I wanna catch 'em. One of my favorate things to do back when I started Oblivion was just mess around underwater, though without mods there wasn't all that much to do.

You have any links to some mods which improve the underwater areas? I find I lust to explore these areas now.

I found the interview on the skyrim website and it wasn's Todd Howard that said it, i was mistaken. It was Matt Carofano the lead artist, and the quotation straight from the interview is as follows.

"2) What sorts of cosmetic options, like beards, tattoos, or body proportions, are available? Can we edit them later in the game?
Matt:
There is large amount of customization available for each race. You can choose from multiple hair styles, beards, scars, and face paint. Each race and gender has a light and heavy build and you can pick any level in between. We’ve completely redone our facial system, and we’re really excited to show off the results."

So excited, can't wait to spend countless hours doing the little things in the game. I hope they improved the house feature, they definitely made noticeable improvements with the Battlehorn Castle DLC. More of that but even better = a ton of expected fun.

Maybe we'll get something like it? Although I'd rather have more than one reasonable choice :P

From what I have heard, you can get married and your spouse will come and live in your house. So that should be one improvement (along with the romance feature). I also hope there is more variety (and more quantity) in properties you can buy.

You have a source on that, Micknator?

It's from the same interview, 7) Will we be able to have relationships with the NPCs, romantic or otherwise?
Bruce: Absolutely! You make friends with people by doing things for them. Friends in the game will treat you differently. Some of them will even agree to go with you into dungeons and on adventures. You can even get married. If you own a house, your spouse will move in with you.

i will do so many things in this game that 1, Skyrim will be overrun by dragons while i'm skiping to work and 2, that The Elder Scrolls VI will be out and i still havent finshed the main quest (*cough* oblivon *cough*)

On top of everything else the friendship bit and the implications of it sold me. Finally, no more (or at least significantly less) "YES, ITS LOCKED AND YES I CAN SEE YOU LOOKING AT IT" "THIEF! THIEEEF!" "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM"

I hated having to reload the game every time I accidentally grabbed something that wasn't mine.

Of course this new system is probably open to abuse... "Excellent! I have completed your sidequest! That makes us friends now! Do you mind if I borrow all of everything in your house, best friend?"

"No? What a shame. Well then, how about we both go adventuring in this far off cavern across dragon-infested territories? You will? Wonderful! On an unrelated note, do you keep your housekeys on your person at all times?"

Gives an immersing feel and lets you think about how to achieve the thing you want.
