Alchemy bugged?

I just purchased Morrowind/Oblivion at the discount (even though I already own Oblivion and beat Morrowind.) My character has alchemy and it seems to be bugged like I vaguely remember it being. It says I need to choose a name when I did choose one. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, any other issues I should be wary of playing this old game on Win7?

I get this bug when i repeatedly create potions (hundreds... really fast)

Just reopen the alchemy tab should fix it... if not, drop you alchemy equipment, then reequip
