What's the point of pre-ordering

you pay the full game price, and there is no bonuses.
i don't want to get to the debate of if it's good or not, but i don't see a reason to preorder the game now, and they might as well opened the preorder in the pre-load day.

usually steam will let you pre-download the game before release date. you can't actually play it until it comes out but you won't have to waste time downloading/installing on release day. i may pre-order myself, depending on system requirements.

I like to pre-order all my games just so i know its done and over. I don't have to save any more money or make sure i have some left over because it was taken care of long ago.
