Dear Australian customer, you're being taken for a really bad ride.

You're paying $100 for a game which costs $60 - if you're not Australian.

The (illegal, afaik) geographical discrimination is still going strong on steam.

p.s. I know this isn't the only thread on it, but we can't have enough warning for our Aussie brothers and sisters.

hopefully no one does, would be funny & teach them a lesson. Though the sad thing is all that happens is a lack of sales from one region just gets blamed on piracy.

they would never admit stupid regional pricing is the cause of a lack of sales when more and more Australians are importing (though according to a gamespot article apparently prices are meant to go down to $70AU per game in the near future).

gamespot article is about console games in retail stores, hope PC games also drop in price in retail stores as well.

Nope, we'll be ripped off here for ever. Buy over seas. 1/2 price for the same thing. This has been brought up many times and has not changed. Vote with your wallet.

Well after the new Battlefield trailer people might pirate MW3. haha. I won't cause its never as good as the real thing and its cheap to the developers. Some people may not agree and think they deserve it. Not me.

The thing I personally find most amusing about the regional pricing is that they are still charging us Australians in US currency.

dont buy this game if you are from Australia let them know we wont be scamed anymore
