I just wondering, will the 11.11.11 the releasedate over steam for everyone?
It would be very nice if so.
The only problem i see now, is british guys can not pre-order.

I hope so. I also hope that it will not be pacific time. Because then it would be 7PM or so on the Friday.

im guessing it'll be EST because Bethesda is based on the east coast, but it might be pacific because of valve pushing the magic button

Mmmmm....I just realized that November 11th is always Veteran's Day here in the US. Wouldn't that mean nothing gets delivered that day? Meaning everyone who pre-ordered it through retail won't get it until the 12th?

Steam = digital
Retail = always a delay :p

Maybe they'll ship it early - if it has to be activated on Steam then it won't run before release anyway.

they always ship to stores earlier, so im sure they will work something out to where you will have your copy on the 11th from retail

Veteran's Day is not a huge holiday. UPS and Fed Ex will still deliver.

meheheh~ I sure hope the store opens on Nov. 11th. I ordered for in-store pick up, since gamestop is right across the street.

I can't shake the feeling that it's finished, packed up in warehouses ready to ship right now but Bethesda just really wanted that 11.11.11 release date :eek:

Doesn't seem to be the same date worldwide. I'm in Japan and Steam says "December, 2011" :mad:

you think? That would be actually good because all bethesda games are very buggy upon release. So extra time for polishing is good thing here. They could even fix horses to not look like barbar Conan on overloaded dwarf pony. But I doubt this will be so much difference then predecestors.

Deus Ex has just been released in North America and South America. Will be released the 26th at midnight in Europe. It's 11AM here and it will be released in 2 days and 13 hours, which is midnight on the 26th. This gives me hope for Skyrim to be released at midnight.

Wrong, the publisher has the option on steam, not valve or something.
So Deus Ex is released by other publisher then skyrim.
