People should let their wallets do the talking, don't buy if you think it's overpriced. Shop elsewere or don't buy or wait untill the game comes on sale somepoint in the future but as we know people will still buy no matter the price.

I think people hate it because although their mind tell them "don't buy it, it's not worthy!", they still can't resist it. It's like a drug.

that is wrong. A company needs feedback why their product will NOT sell too. Otherwise they will never be able to improve their product if only happy customers give their opinions!

The thing is, CoD will sell. And what they need to make better product is constructive criticism, which is not the case here in this forum.

cod will sell yeah (because of massive marketing mostly) and most of the time companies do not listen to nice critisism since those voices aren't loud enough most of the time.

Anger is also a form to show dissatisfaction and also it is the form that gets the most immediate attention. But I agree that the steam forum is pretty much useless regarding Activision since they do not read this forum AT ALL ^^
(but look at l4d and l4d2 discussion back then. This also wasn't alot of "constructive" critisism but alot of rage too. And Valve listened to them. They formed steamgroups etc but from rage to constructive critisism everything was present ^^

I don't know about marketing at all, just wondering if they save some of their marketing budget and release their DLCs for free as it was before...well at least more people would like them:)

(PS hearing there'll be no in-game server browser in BF3 and just decided to waste my time on RO2 and TF2)

They is no constructive criticism only hate when it comes to COD (well from PC users that is). Constructive criticism posts get drowned out by hate filled posts.

Saying MW3 is rubbish because it uses a outdated engine or it has graphics look dated doesn't help because people can't explain why they think this and why it is bad for the game.

Posts and threads need to be clear and to the point, with a vaild reason why you think it should be done this way etc but in most cases all I seem to read is MW3 is ****, dont buy, rip off, worthless piece of **** and so on.

Which is why I try to discourage people from getting any Activision games since they have done this over and over for years. Seriously console ports have gotten out of hand they cost more and they offer less.

Of couse the game is overpriced, I have bought hundereds of games for the PC over the years and I have never paid £40 for a game yet, unless you count subscriptions for games such as SWG, Everquest II, EVE etc then I have paid hundereds of pounds for.

But saying that I play world of tanks and I put quite a bit of cash into this game over the last 4 months, but this is free to play.

THe highest I ever paided for a game was £35 and that was for a numberous games. I will find MW3 cheaper somewere when the game is released.
