How to install Spore Expansions

Hi, a while back my siblings and I got a copy of spore on steam. A few weeks ago by brother found that Creepy and Cute expansion back for like, $3. So we bought it, but the problem, of course, is that we can't figure out how to get it installed! If you buy a game on steam, is there any way to get an expansion pack installed? Thanks!

Bump, I have the exact same problem. I have the expansion disc, but no way to install it to the steam version of Spore. I can't justify shelling out another $20 for the expansion on steam when the game itself is only $20. The little expansion should only be a couple of bucks. Anyone have any ideas? Also, trying to enter the serial for the expansion into the activate game on steam tab doesn't work either. Any help is greatly appreciated.
