I really hate it when snipers switch back and forth between their secondary and primary after firing to lower the pause after firing. It's immersion breaking and is annoying. I'm not one that thinks games should be just like real life, but quickswitching is just silly. Switching from a primary to a secondary should be fast to make secondaries useful in quick situations, but switching from secondary to primary should be slow.

I think the AWP/Scout quickswitch needs to be fixed, as it is an exploit. For all other weapons it works properly.

Quake 3 weapon switch system will probably solve it.

If they make it so that its not an exploit, so that it takes just as long that it takes to take the bolt back.
Many people do quickswitch because of the movementspeed inbetween shots.
Also, quicker to change to sidearms, slower with mainarm!

Hope not. In fact i think there ought to be an achievement for it.
kill-switch : damage an opponent with your primary weapon and finish him off with your secondary in less than two seconds.

This is only needed for the awp and perhaps scout.
Best solution would be to add a scope delay (like 1.6. has) and bring back the ability to quickscope (being able to fire an accurate shot as soon as the scoping animation starts - not as easy as it sounds)

You want this to become Modern Warfare 2 with quickscoping? Face it, in average real life combat, snipers are never used. Snipers are only to watch enemies incoming, assassinating key targets, and providing support for allies. Never in real life combat would they give a ground unit a sniper rifle so he could stick around with the other men armed with assault rifles / SMGs / machine guns / shotguns. Hardscoping should be required and the only place where snipers are actually useful are open areas with hiding spots.

People in CS can already quickscope. Haven't you ever watched pro players use an AWP?
they really need to remove quickswitching, sniping should be like in other games
you open a scope with one click you close the scope with one click

No. It's fine the way it is. Go back to CoD.

Face it, real life and video games don't mix.
