Since Team Fortress 2 started becoming slowly a business game, there appeard loads of scammers/hijackers, that they want to access your account to steal all your items.

I think Valve and Steam should work on a system that can protect these "virtual items", because people pay some good money for these.

Since i am affraid of the keyloggers/viruses, i really want to have the game/account protected.

Here are my suggestions:
-Disabling Delete button on some items or completly in game(you can activate the option back - read suggestion 2);

-Disabling Trading Feature on some items or completly in game for how much you want (When will you want to disable trading, Steam will send you a unique code to your email adress that you can activate the trading back whenever you want).

Hope someone will read this thread, and i know, maybe this is not realisable, but i will keep dreaming at them.

Feel free to comment.

Thank you, hubrus.

Use SteamGuard and your suggestions are not needed since the hijacker is not able to access your account. Unless you are stupid enough to use the same password for your Steam and your mail account.

Btw, giant letters and bold colors does not make a post more readable, i think it's an eyesore.

I use Steam Guard and i am proud of it, all i wanted it was 1 more level of security on this game, anyways thanks for the comment.

I think this is a good idea myself. There's times that you just can't be TOO careful.
