Do you have the newest versions of:
Graphic-card-driver/DirectX/C++/Servicepacks

if you not sure: Just update it and try again.

The demo is a bit buggy. My first playthrough went without issue. However, my second saw my PC freezing, and I had to force quit the game.

Just remember, this demo is rather old and likely not representative of the final release.

One thing you can try is to make sure you have all the latest drivers for audio, video and motherboard (yes, including any Intel or AMD inf's). Also, I found quitting and restarting STEAM worked for me since I have the latest drivers for my rig:

Q9550s @ 3.8GHz, HD6950 BIOS modded to 6970 @ 950MHz core and 1.4GHz RAM, 4GB PC2 8500 1066MHz DDR2, Dell 24" 1920x1200 16:10 display, Auzentech Xplosion DTS Connect 7.1 sound card.

bug? I have no problem at all. I played it several times so far. I didn't find any bug. it runs great. of course, everything is turned on or set maximum.

by the way, you have to upgrade every drivers. just check game page on steam. you need driver 11.8 if you have AMD. if you didn't, it's obvious to happen. at least if you already upgraded to 11.7, you should be fine because I run under AMD 11.7 driver. no problem.

If you get bluescreen it's got to do with your computer. It might even be hardware related or the operating system is ♥♥♥♥ed up. Many people can't seem to keep their systems in good condition. I have Win7 64bit installed for 2 years now without a single problem and I have upgraded my computer several times without reinstalling windows (cpu, gpu, hdd, psu).

This fella above me is quite right. A crashing game couldn't cause a blue screen, they are hardware oriented. And by that a driver conflict could be causing it. You should get it on purpose, then write down that code it gives and google it.

I had a similar problem where when I started a certain game it would BSOD every other time basically. It was some kind of driver conflict that had to do with my G13. I stopped using it and I no longer got any blue screens. Damn shame too, it was pretty sweet.

+1 rep for you ipariszalonna

Kinda wierd if you say it is computer related when i was playing crysis 2 last night for over 15 hours and didnt get bluescreen single time and it only happens when i play warhammer.

It most likely means that the game is trying to access some hardware functionality that isn't there, or accessing a device that is in conflict with another device, perhaps trying to access both devices simultaneously with a driver conflict.

Software does not cause BSOD, only hardware issues.

I've played the "game" you mentioned and this statement is deeply concerning to say the least.

On topic though it's most likely one of the following:

Corrupt/bad drivers.
Damaged HDD.
Faulty RAM.

99.99% of BSOD are caused by these.

My guess is probably RAM or HDD. Either the RAM gets filled up to a certain point where it hit a bad address (you may just have a single bad stick) or the HDD is trying to access an area that contains bad sectors or similar.

Since UltraMarines are BLUE your computer will display BLUE screen during game play

If you were to play BloodRavens then you'd see RED screen.

Pure and Simple

I keep getting a CTD at the same spot, right after you get into the second building, past the Shoota Boy. Runs nice and smooth up till then. Hopefully it'll sort itself out at release.

You mean like getting rid of all the viruses you downloaded while searching the web for your illicit materials?

Yeah, I have had Windows XP, and Windows 7 installed for a long time without having to reinstall. Last time I reinstalled 7 was 1 year ago when I had a hardware failure.

Most likely the BSoD is a virus or hardware.

OP, have you EVER had a blue screen before this?

Also when it happens again, give me the error code (not the numbers, just the thing that looks like "DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"
