A funny crash

So I just got this game and started playing. Was really digging the music/atmosphere as well. Came to a red save crystal, saved my game, and then ventured off to the darkened tunnel on the left. My character gets halfway through and gasps at the sound of a loud rumbling behind her. She turns -

and my entire computer shuts off.

This seems almost too well timed.
