Please be realistic with the prices...i know some of you would say 0$ but that doesnt countXD
BE realistic!:)
Also note that the content they added in MW3 is equal *ignore the Campaign scripts*to the 3-4 latest major updates in TF2 which were free of charge...and consider that most people who will buy MW3 also have MW2

Honestly, I would probably pay up to $250 for the game and DLCs alone. I spend hundreds of hours playing these games and I don't mind forking out the dough to get my hands on the latest one.

It's more than a mod or a "DLC" for MW2 like some are saying. They have changed lots of things, removed several perks, and fixed most of the problems that we all had with MW2.
Honestly, MW2's graphics were good. I don't see a reason to change the engine.
Gameplay was also great.
Now we have dedicated servers, all our problems fixed that we know of, and new guns and perks. What's not to love?

but pay $250 for a game? I know you can pay more but not everyone can. You would be surpised what modders can do, just look at games like oblivion where modders changed all the textures and there are mods that completely change the gameplay.
Mw3 is rehashed, they even used same textures on many things, same sounds on some of the guns and same animations on some stuff. We all know this, the only reason they will get away with it is that the game is gonna be good if its like mw and mw2. Its still a mod level change.

I realize that not everyone has $250... and as a publisher, I think it would be stupid to charge that much. Because they wouldn't sell near as many copies of the game.
But you asked me how much I would pay, so I told you.
This is the way I look at it. How many hours did I play MW2? 675 hours.
$90 (Game + DLCs) / 675 hours of entertainment
= $0.13 per hour.
Compare that to a movie, for example:
2 hours / $10
= $5.00 per hour.

Sure this should of been included in the MW2 original game, but honestly **** it, I do not care. The fact is its here in MW3 and I am willing to pay the 60 dollars to get a fixed/balanced, modable and dedicated servers version of MW2.
Not to mention the new STORY, new GUNS, new MP GAME MODES, new SURVIVAL, new everything except Graphics.

Can't believe gamers are so blind these days, its basically the same game, same old engine, same boring gameplay, there is nothing innovative about the series anymore, and don't come with crap like, we get new guns and perks. COD is the new Fifa, small changes every year, but will get boring for some, and if you bore the crap out of some people, than you are doing something wrong. But hey, MONEY MONEY MONEY!

Stop using the whole "Oh I played this game for so many hours so it's worth it right?!" it's wrong.
I've got 5 hours on Mirrors Edge, a fantastic game that was definitely worth 20 dollars to experience. Whats the conversion for that?
Compared to 60 hours of realization that I'm playing a terrible unoptimized, skill-less game called Black Ops.
If price per hours of play was actually your concern, you would go play Free2Play games for the best price/hour ratio.

I don't think I'd pay more than 15€. It's not because DLC's cost that much. I'm just not interested in cod all too much.
I have strategy games, RPG games and plrenty of FPS games. That's just about enough. I might get another FPS if they're innovative or smth. But call of duty series aren't anymore.
Not if I'll get bf3 either. It seems to be a real upgrade over bf2. That was an amazing game. So far bc2 and mw2 seem to be enough in the fps genre. I might prefer moh over cod though. It looks more balanced.

So you are thinking Battlefield 3 is a campfest? Have you not played any recent Call of Duty games? It pretty much promoted camping for your stupid killstreaks. Why do you think MW3 will be any different? Personally playing the same game 3 games in a row for the last 4 years, it would get quite boring. Which is why I won't by buying this polished turd made for a giant piece of ♥♥♥♥. The only campers are the useless bushwookies in BFBC2 which don't help the cause at all.

Well, since they're going to screw pc users over again with the different versions, i only expect to pay $50, maybe $60 for it and not more than $5 for dlc. Now if they were to actually give pc users access to the hardened and whatever that big version is, i'd easily pay $150 for it, and expect to pay nothing for the dlc.

$60. They are including server files so I'm happy. Plus Acti isn't pulling an EA and spying on paying customers. (http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/js51f/ea_origin_spyware_issue_silently_boycotting_will/)

They will delete your freaking game if you don't use it for 2 years. Oh yeah that's fair.

that is actually completely wrong, they don't delete your game, i have 2142 from back when it was EA dl, i haven't played it in more than 2 years and its still on my account, ready to be downloaded when i please, so that is false
Then again, you are also the person who said CoD levels are more complex than BF levels, so im going to start ignoring everything you say after that post

If I’ve paid for a game, then I should damn well have the right to play it after 50 years if I want to. And your statement is completely false since it's written in the user agreement.
And thanks god for ignoring me. Seriously thank you.

Definately not worth $60. More like $20 or less. But what you linked there with that Origin supposedly spyware they already changed the EULA that they are talking about so whatever you are ♥♥♥♥♥ing about is already gone.

Don't need to be rude, I didn't know it was gone. I still won't get BF3 because I'm a poor and I just really dislike Origin.

I would probably spend upwards of hundreds of dollars on this game (not including DLC).
You must realise, the shareholders of Activision need money - they are very poor people who have been hit hard by the recent financial problems in the world. By paying unfair amounts of money, we have an opportunity as privileged, rich people, to compensate those poor investors with greater share price and bigger dividend payments.
We must all rise up to the opportunity of spending unfathomable amounts of money on MW3 in order to bail out Activision's shareholders!

Probably $10 to $20 AU, if you could somehow persuade me to buy it, but don't call me a BF3 Hammer Legion Member because I'm not installing that origin ♥♥♥♥ on my PC either.
However I will be enjoying TES:Skyrim :D
