Some people think Battlefield 3 owns Modern Warfare 3 anyday. Well what could happen is that MW3 might be the better game than BF3...chance is super slim but I mean the expectations for MW3 is a bit too low.

Having played the bf3 beta for over an hour today, I can safely say that MW3 will blow it out of the water. Duke Nukem Forever blew it out of the water. All the battlefield kids are going to be greatly disappointed when their terrible new game comes out. Which is a shame, I was hoping it'd be good, then CoD would actually have competition for best FPS and they'd maybe try harder for CoD 9 (God damn there's been a lot of these) but unfortunately it doesn't seem as though that will happen.

It's a Beta people, not the finished game, one example being that the beta only allows for medium grafical settings, even though it shows the higher options.

Actually it pretty much is. If hes judging this game from 1 map and 1 mode then hes obviously pretty blind. He like an old married couple when he has sex. 1 position same old boring stuff. When MW2 came out it pretty much destroyed the series for me. Black Ops brought some hope but dashed them all over the place yet again. So yet again people are going nuts for a game just to be let down again knowing they should have listened to people.

Pretty much if you are taking this beta and this 1 map and mode to heart saying its just terrible sure its terrible which is why Rush was never in BF2 it was added to Bad Company 1 which was a console game. It promoted camping which is why I am surprised this idiot didn't like it.

To get the full Battlefield experience you have to be one of the lucky few that got into the Caspian Border 64 player conquest servers. They are doing some private testing with those servers so its password protected.

This is the true way to play Battlefield but I guess some people just have never tried it.

No I don't hate the game because I have never played it. O wait I have for the last 4 years. Its going to be exactly the same as the last one. The only thing I hate is people like you that throw money at these tards and reward them for poor quality games. The BF3 beta is better than the last 3 CoD games combined.

I'm also curious about how you call proffesional developers names and look down on them like you, a fan, are somehow better than they are. Even on the less "innovative" games, it still takes a massive amount of effort by smart and professional developers that are successful in what they do. That certainly doesn't justify labeling them "tards".

Another interesting note is that you chastise him for wanting the same experience, but then promote the "Battlefield" experience. The basics of conquest hasn't changed since Battlefield 1942, which is actually quite similar to Command and Conquer Renegade's total war mantra. You also get upset when discussing the Rush mode because it wasn't "BF2", and consequently, not a part of the the "true" Battlefield experience. Just some words for you to chew on, because really, you seem to want the same experience of Battlefield release after release. Yeah, bf3 beta was so insanely awful.

Insane amount of bugs considering the release is less then a month away, and from my experience the only thing in the game is to shoot RPG's, die, respawn, shoot more. All anyone did.

And I guess they didn't learn anything from BF2, because more dust isn't good, half the time you can't see what's happening.

From what I've dealt with as far as the BF3 Beta goes, I'm not going anywhere near it. Requires ♥♥♥♥ Origin, you need some ♥♥♥♥ browser plugin to find games, you can't change settings unless you are in a game and alive, and I literally flat out could not get my controls to work. Either it didn't let me bind certain keys to actions (mouse 5 to nade, shift to ads, etc...), or if it did let me bind the key it didn't work anyway (sprint to g).

DICE has got some serious ♥♥♥♥ to get ironed out in a month if BF3 is going to be anywhere near playable for me. And hell, if mw3 has proper dedis, console, mod tools, and tubes take up a blue perk...it will be as good as cod4 I bet.

Here was my hour of gameplay:

Server/game crashes (had to install new drivers for some bizarre reason on PC, on PS3 the game still crashed)
Falling through the ground. (both PS3 and PC)
Spawning and getting blown up nearly immediately by people with RPG's. (both PS3 and PC)
Encountered far more campers then I ever did in any CoD game to date. (both PS3 and PC)
Fell through the ground again. (both PS3 and PC)
Spent about half the time being blinded by ♥♥♥♥♥♥bags with flashlights (both PS3 and PC)
Fell through the ground again. (both PS3 and PC)
Game crashed (both PS3 and PC)

I stopped after the game crashed a second time on both systems, that was enough. I played for one hour on PC the other day then tried again for another hour on PS3 yesterday, turns out they're basically the same buggy terrible beta for presumably a buggy terrible game.

They have said numerous times this isn't even the farthest they have coded the game. It was for stress testing the server.

As Zhinto the community manager said beta is a privilege not a right. Be lucky you were even able to get on unless it was promised by preorders like MOH and Origin orders. To be honest I am glad you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aren't going to be playing. Less idiots ruining everyone elses gameplay by camping and complaining it takes too long to lvl. the parts of the post about the beta being a month old version is true, he just worded it a very childish way. I've (personaly) given up trying to convince people on here, it just isn't going to happen, because im sure most people have at least tried a battlefield game and didn't enjoy it. If you haven't, i say give it a try because if you enjoy that style, you are missing out on one incredible experience, if you enjoy CoD, go buy the next one. No matter which is better, we all know Skyrim is GOTY so shouldn't we team up to try and take skyrim out XD (btw i am totaly looking forward to skyrim, have been for 5 years since oblivion)

Also if people are spawncamping, just change server, it usually isn't too hard to find a server where both teams are having a good back and forth. If you still have problems not related to crashing/falling through ground, then fair enough, you didn't enjoy the beta.

Either the people dont UNDERSTAND what a frikin beta is, or they judge a game by one gamemode.
It was mentioned SOOO often, that the state of the beta is NOT one month before release. Its far older. And it was mentioned sooo often as well, that the beta does NOT include all features of the final release, e.g. ultra graphics, menus et cetera.

So he can criticize something he doesn't like but can't accept criticism about something he loves ? I've played previous Battlefield games and I've played the BF3 beta and let me tell you, the game plays almost exactly as its previous iterations, which for me is not really a bad thing as that's the reason why I like playing Battlefield games in the first place.

You complain about MW3 doing the same thing over and over while defending BF3, which let's be honest, has exactly the same features as its predecessors and the only real difference is a new face lift.

BF3 is Dice's MW2, the removal of common and basic features only to be forced to use their own, which don't, or won't work.

Battlefield 3 is better than MW3, but just by a tad bit. Caspian borders was average for me in BF3 beta, considering that there will be minor improvements for it. MW3 will be a great game, nonetheless.

Well, hmm, I've spent about 5 Hours with the Beta now. It has nice Graphics and the Sound is ok, I guess. Gameplay is obviously typical Battlefield Gameplay, slower paced and more isolated. Campers however are widespread and it seems to be a very viable Tactic. Battlelog routinely ***** out on me. A major annoyance was the entire process of getting the game running. First install Origin, then create a account (which I was able to skip), log-in, download the beta, install the beta, start the beta, download a browser plug-in, find a server, join a server -> Game crash.

I ended up having to update my graphic cards driver and the fact that I can only get into the Menu while deployed is...to say the very least, extremly annoying.

I find no peace in reassurances of the Demos age, they make sense for the Console side,but I thought this is a PC Game? There is no authorization process for our plattform that they would have to go through, so why don't we get the newest Version? Doesn't make sense. Therefore, in my Eyes that just a excuse, any testing going on right now will only lead to a day 1 patch, the game is long finished, it has to be with it's release in less then 3 weeks.

I don't think leveling takes too long, I just think the game can quickly become tedious, also, the Demo doesn't make alot of sense considering that it isn't showing us the core features that BF takes pride in, like vehicles. I have thus far enjoyed my experience, I however can't really say that I trust what I have seen as they aren't prepared to show everyone the complete package.

The most important thing however is that the game has me coming back, it's fun, just in a entirely different way. Now I'll have to see if I get it too.
