View Full Version : Manual Fix: "The requested resolution configuration could not be achieved"

Hi,

If you launch the game on Windows (mostly 7) and always get a pop up windows untitled:

"Resolution error (fullsreen)"
or
"Resolution error (windowed)"

Saying:
"The requested fullscreen/windowed resolution configuration could not be achieved!
Please configure a new one (in config/DisplayOptions.xml)"

Please consider updating you OpenGL drivers.

This can be done by installing Graphics Driver on your PC.

The problem is that the OpenGL version that comes with Windows 7 is not a very recent version.

Installing new nVidia drivers, or ATI/AMD Catalyst Control Panel should fix the issue.

If you're not sure what to install, you can go on the constructor website of your machine and looks for suitable graphics driver.

Did you try to update your drivers?
You can download ATI drivers here:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

And nVidia ones here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Please let me know what's going on (I think I receive a mail from you! Or maybe that's a player in the same situation).

Well Thanks Pal, but i Think is the OpenGL Problem :/. It says its a Resolution Problem. That i need to Change my Resolution.

The Requested Windowed resolution configuration could not be achieved!

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bits.
Intel core i3 2.53 GHZ
4GB Ram
