AI Won't Attack Strongest Player?

Anyone notice this? I've won games by staying out of hotly contested areas like NA and AUS and then slowly massing up and pushing my borders while the AI (all 4 of them) fight petty conflicts amongst themselves

Similarly I've lost games where one AI does what I do and the others keep attacking each other and me instead of making a push for weak border areas

Play online! We need more players. There are two or three Steam groups for Risk Factions that you can join. And I can guarantee that real players WILL attack the strongest player when appropriate.
