R6:Raven Shield Coop Mission Planning Stage ?

Is the planning stage only aviable in singleplayer? Is there a way to use waypoints in multiplayer / coop? I didn't play Raven Shield for a long time and decided to do some coop action with friends but we're having a pretty hard time getting around the maps and timing our actions. A feature like the planning stage in the singleplayer campaign would be a great help.

Click F4 if you enable the mapping thing for the server and you can draw all over the map. It is supported on all official maps. Some custom maps have support for drawing on it, but there are a handful of them that don't have it.
