Is campaign currently bugged? Does the game not work on 64-bit windows 7?

I checked on that fun little Can I Run This website and I passed everything, so my system's not the problem here, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having the trouble I'm having.

Basically, when I go to load the campaign, my game crashes.

I tried validating the game cache, it always says 1 file failed to validate and will be re-acquired, It downloads, and then the game runs fine again, I launch it, try to load the campaign, and the game crashes again.

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this? I'd really like to play this game.

How many cores does your processor have?
Also are you able to play multiplayer?

Check your local firewall it might be blocking the port used for resequence.exe to communicate with achron

Two cores, cannot play multiplayer, and can you tell me the ports?

The LocalServerPort is the one which does not use the internet and is purely local for resequence to communicate with the game.
