Where is my achievement?

So.. Did this happen to anyone else?

I played through the entire game on the Hard difficulty, didn't change it at all, but after the ending I didn't get my achievement for completing the game on Hard.

What's the solution to this? I would need to play again through the entire campaign on hard to get the achievement?

Is the achievement bugged or something?

that's y i dont worry too much about achievements on steam. It's stupid how Steam made their achiv's non-rewarding. They should had made it like Xbox Live/PSN.

I have had this issue with other THQ/Relic related games, such as Warhammer 40k Retribution and Darksiders. I was actually looking to see if this was a problem with Space Marines before buying it, so thanks for confirming!

Did you start a new game (by hitting the new game button), or did you simply change the difficulty and select the first mission from the mission select menu? You get the same effect either way but two very different methods for starting up the play through.

I don't know if it's a factor, I'm just curious.

It can be, I was prevented from getting the achievement when I replayed, in the middle of my first run, an already played level, even on hard!, and when i continued and finished I didn't get the achievement.

When I played through a second time I did it without replaying any chapters and it worked. So even if you played all missions on hard it can still happen you don't get it.

So to be sure, don't replay missions until you're done.
