SH3 can retail version be activated on steam?

No one know about that yet, atleast I think. But I think it is possible to activate retail version to steam. You can buy stronghold 3 from other website, and they are suppose to be activate on steam. I got my from green man gaming, and it say when the game is release they will sent me a CD key. And I will have to activate it to steam.
