After hearing many screams from the 12yr old's with endless time, that one could bind "SAVE" using the console, well I tried it at my friends house and guess what the POS didn't work. I guess the developer thought their main consumers were unemployed with endless time or 12 year old children who love COD and don't mind checkpoints. Well this is one purchase that you lost and I will make sure to let everyone know at work and my uni not to purchase this 2hr waste of time. Try harder next time, QUICK SAVE....a feature for adults.

IMO quick save ruins FPS by removing tension and all the challenge...This is coming from an adult that PC games.

Chill out man, this game is anything but a POS.
Hashmallum has already stated that they are working on this so there's no need to be rude.

The game is amazing. Fantastic gameplay that you're missing out on because you lack the skill to play a challenging game the way it was meant to be played.

I will be gifting several copies of this game to people on my friends list just to spite you.

QUICK SAVE....a feature for adults.

There are plenty of checkpoint locations, they are like after every battle so there is no reason to scream like a little girl over it ;) your loss if you don't play it.

WTF is POS ?

@OP
What are you? For me YOU seem to be a 12yr old.
This game is RUINED with a quicksave function. Why? Because it gets far too easy and I HOPE that if the console comes back all types of cheats will be deleted. I already hate it how easy all games are these days and I am more than happy to die a few times here.

Now you are nerdraging over him. The op's rudeness was pointless but facts are that some of us don't have that much time to play games and adding a manual save has nothing to do with being or not able to beat a game.

Besides, you can choose not to use manual saves if that makes you feel like a macho.

I feel more like an adult when I work and spend time with my family, I don't know about you.

Exactly. The checkpoints are positioned pretty much exactly where you would have been quicksaving anyway (unless you abuse it)

Rofl, meanwhile the game is fun to play. I've had some crazy moments where everything just blows up, obliterating everything. Too busy moving forward and enjoying myself to even think of saving TBH. Perhaps the game's too hard for you?

Pretty sad when it's a save function that makes someone derp, much like a 12 year old he calls other people I must add.

You say the games a POS just because it doesn't have quicksaves? The game is fantastic IMO and they already added in more checkpoints based on feedback.

Your thread is a POS.

Well then, maybe if you ask one nicely they'll post here to ask for it on your behalf.

No quicksave for you then. You have problem even with normal polite communication :) Aggressive games could do even more damage to you.

Carefully read your post and ask yourself "Is this how an adult acts when there is a feature in a video game that is missing or not to his or her liking?"

Blimey, leave 12 year olds alone.

Seems to me teenagers and adults are the most vile and obnoxious bullies.

The negative behaviour the OP and other proscribe to "12 year olds" is the behaviour of adults. Indeed it's clearly the way he behaves. He isn't 12.

If he were 12, I'm willing to bet 4 bowls of co-co pops, he wouldn't have started the thread in the way he did if at all.

Typically, all of the really nasty and horrible things that happen and all of the negative things that are done and said in the world are acts committed by adults not 12 year olds.

With a very few exceptions.

I like checkpoints. it makes the game hard.
But then again, I like old school shooters!

So it's a bad game because you don't have quicksaves to hold your hand? Psst Checkpoint saves were also around before CoD.

Too true. Kids don't fully understand why the things they say are horrible but adults know all too well - yet do it any way.

Try adding it as a keybind to the cfg file located in your HardReset profile folder.

There is really no pleasing you people it seems. If a game isn't difficult you whine about it not appealing to the "hardcore" some some BS. If a game is difficult, you complain that you don't have that much time to dedicate to it because you are an "adult" with "adult" responsibilities to attend to.

Doesn't work.

Tedious tedious checkpoints...

I HOPE that if the console comes back all types of cheats will be deleted. I already hate it how easy all games are these days and I am more than happy to die a few times here.

Wait, what?

You want the developers of the game to remove all the cheats from the dev console? Why? If you don't want to use them, don't. Your problem is solved. What if someone else wants them?

Why do people insist on trying to force everyone else to play games the same way they do? What if that's not the way other people LIKE to play the game?

I've been PC gaming since the beginning, and one of my favorite aspects of PC games over the years has been the ability to use console commands when I WANT to. Calling it "cheating" shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose of a single-player video game. In Fallout 3 and FNV, I can use console commands to create whole settlements of NPCs if I want to. I can make my character 30 feet tall, or summon a pack of two dozen wild dogs to fight by my side... or against me. Console commands give the player CONTROL of the gaming experience, which (for me) increases the fun factor immensely.

I've been annoyed over the past few years at how the feature seems to be less popular than it used to be, and here you come along trying to ruin my PC gaming experience even more. I know this is just a forum, and usually I just laugh at people who get all emotional on gaming forums, but to be honest, this attitude REALLY makes me angry.

You have ABSOLUTELY no right to tell anyone else how to play their own single-player games. What's "fun" for you isn't necessarily fun for anyone else. For you to think you have a right to FORCE your preferred play style on millions of other gamers shows a serious psychological problem.

(As does my posting this to rage about it, but that's MY psychological problem, and I'll deal with it myself.) :)

P.S. Incidentally, even without cheats or a quicksave function (which I prefer to have), THIS GAME ROCKS. The checkpoints work fine for me. I do have a wife and kid, but I also reserve at least 2 hours a day for gaming. So I guess I'm somewhere in the middle of the "I'm a hardcore gamer with no responsibilities" <---> "I'm a family man who can't play video games for more than 10 minutes" spectrum, lol.

One would assume by cheats he means god mode and maybe infinite ammo, not everything else you listed. Way to overreact.
