Weapon switching

My only gripe with the game thus far (beaten 2 levels) is the weapon switching. When switching between the two main weapons it seems like you have to wait until one is cooled down or something to switch. Is this normal? Or should I be focusing on one weapon for a whole fight?

I am not sure what you are talking about. Switching weapons doesn't take much time for me. I am switching weapons quite frequently depending on the situation.

It happens even if you don't have your finger on the fire button. It is definitely frustrating during Boss battles. I like switching between the two types in battles. Please tweak it a little devs!

Agree, 'needs' tweaking. Although it kinda goes ok, but I think some delays are too high.
Sometimes I keep rotating my mousewheel but nothing happens, meanwhile the enemy got too close so I just keep it at the firing mode..
