Hello.

Game looks promising, but its so damn slow on my PC. Sure, Ive not an high-end PC, but whats the problem in displaying a 2D game on my PC?

Im using: Sempron2800, A7N8X, 1GB Ram, GF6600GT

PC still plays Silent Hunter 3, Darkstar One and several other games pretty well. Ive reinstalled net and xna thing, but its still stuttering a lot. Mouse pointer stutters, scrolling stutters. Specially when zoomed out. Not playable. I guess it has sth to do with all the light sources of the game and with my graphic card? When zoomed in scrolling and mouse run pretty smooth.

Since steam told me I just need a 1,7GHz CPU and a graphic card with shader 2.0 (Sempron 2800=2GHZ, GF6600GT = Shader 3.0) I thought this game should run pretty good on my machine. Whats the problem? Anybody knows?

Update: I changed some driver options - unfortunately simultanous. Ive set colour depth from 32bit to 16bit and the performance slider of the nvidia driver from "high quality" to "high performance". One of the options did the trick. Game went fine (2 player game, 18 rounds, 30+ light sources). Will test again tomorrow, which change had the most effect on my PC and will add the results into here. Its just too late now to check. Sorry. (Excuse my possibly bad english, Im german, long timeoff school -_-)

Update_2: Hello again. It turned out that both options (changing colour depth from 32 to 16bit, using the performance slider within the nvidia driver) are necessary to make my game running smoother. Ive setup a program rule for this game now in the nvidia driver (all filters set to off, everything set to high performance), so its okay for me now. Still far away from fluid gameplay anyway, but at least a bit better than before. But now Im off to the game. Enough testing :)
