4 gb ddr3, gtx 460, Q8300, all settings on high and getting 15-40 fps lol it seems to be like 15-30 fps in the first 30 seconds of a game then it goes upto to 40 after 30 seconds.

ok now another game its 20 fps... i can run every other game on highest settings at at least 30 fps usually 40-50 (apart from crysis 1)

oh and i get lag spikes that take it down to 10fps sometimes lol

On small maps with no people I can eek out 24-50 fps in high settings. More than 10 people on the map 20-40 and if I attempt a 64 player game it never goes above 12 and only hits about 20 in medium and if I turn everything off I can just about get a stable 30. Of course with everything off it just looks like Quake at 30fps.

I'll be looking forward to any patches to increase performance because I can play on 32player BC2 servers in med-high settings with 60fps and that's really what I should be getting with this.

its triple channel ddr3 but i didnt think it to be that important since ddr2 at high mhz is still as good if not better then ddr3.and there are other who post ram that was not defined to the letter so stop with the personal attack, yeah i see through it.

Vsync means vertical sync which maxs your FPS at whatever your monitor refresh rate is.

well going by posts on these forums.. its either game is crap or they have probs runnin game either way all tend to moan no matter what ,i run the game with no issues at all.and im enjoyin this completelly different fpshooter compared to the same old arcade cod games year in year out which have become a real bore.my specs are cpu=x6 1100t 8gb ddr3 gtx460 runnin on Asus M4A88T Mobo.. ppl should give TW some time to fix any issues/bugs that exist. instead of whinin like spoilt little brats, ppl forget there small indie dev not big corporations like Activision/EA who have millions to play with in the bank and who constantly release poor games each year which are bugged to the hilt and as consumers we still buy there crap games .. so do yourself a favour and give them some slack

posted before somewhere in this forum, there it goes again:

Intel q9550 (2.83 Ghz Quad core 12 Mb L2 cache)
4 gb RAM
5770 1 gb
Win 7 64 bit

I get 30-40 fps with everything max except shadows high

50+ with high, shadows low, bloom off (looks still awesome)

Resolution is 1920x1080.

And my operating system is pretty clean with only steam, comodo antivirus, ati control center and razer keyboard+mouse programs running in the background.

i7 6-core , slight overclock to 4.0gHz
12gb ram
3xSLI gtx480
SSD raid array

I get 35-50 fps on average with highs of up to 120 fps depending whats up, but FPS is generally low, along with being all over the place feeling decidedly un-smooth.

My rig can play any game I've thrown at it obviously so i'm slightly confounded by this lack of performance.

maybe it's just some negative scaling with bad SLI support, I'll have to play with some compatability flags or just turn off SLI and see what happens.

Starting to think a lot of these kids with "i7" or "i5" rigs are full of crap. No way in hell you should be getting the numbers you are getting.

Me?

LGA775 (ftw mf'ers)
Q9550 @ 3.3GHz/core
8gb DDR3 @ 1333
1gb DDR5 ATi 5770 (minor overclock)
Fairly fresh install of W7 -64bit

With 1920x1080 res, ALL settings cranked to Ultra save for shadows on "high" and FXAA on "high" I am getting a solid 55-75 on EVERY map. Avg. is usually somewhere around 60. Vsync is ALWAYS off, doesn't matter the game. EDIT TO ADD: Ambient Occlusion set to OFF. Never adds that much visual benefit and adds a good 10fps solid to the framerate with it off.

This game is not THAT poorly optimized at all. Fool around with your settings, don't get jaratey because you may be forced to go to "high" on a setting or two.

The game looks great, regardless of what you spoiled kids expected. I admit that there is plenty of patching to be done, but between tripwire and AMD/Nvidia updates, this game should be in great shape very soon.

If you TRULY have a new i7 rig and a top-notch GPU and are getting bad frames, I'm inclined to place the blame on faulty hardware installation, hardware condition or bad juju on the software end of things.

Put it on my buddy's new i5 rig and he gets about 15 fps more than me, on a 5970 GPU I believe.

So far RO2 has netted better performance than BFBC2 on both mine and my buddy's systems.

Steady 45 with most settings on high, bloom, blur etc turned off and used some tips and tricks from http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=63374 this thread. Dropping down 20-30 during heavy smoke and artillery bombardments on 50+ player servers. Never dips below 40 when less than 45 players are involved.

Seriously, tweak the game a bit. It gave me 20 fps and it doesn't look any uglier. In fact it looks better once you get rid of depth of field and bloom.
Also, steer clear of 64 player servers. 32-52 is where it's at.

+1 I had a nice angry reply ready lol.

I do not get great performance, on a 1-10 I'd give it a 4.
I got 6 gigs ddr3
i7 920
1T HD
ATI HD 5770
high speed RR (20 megs bandwith due to my proximity)

This game should be at least smoother than Homefront was when it was released or BC2 or MoH..........

And I as well have Bloom, as well as some others, turned off. I haven't found a game yet where I left bloom on. The glowing gives me a headache.

They DID/DO have memory measured in megabytes, actually. Secondly, the man was making a lighthearted joke about "9mb of ram." Calm down, quit being a hard-on please. Most of us GOT the joke and actually laughed a little, not at your expense, but at the expense of the situation.

My FPS is everywhere.

i7 870 @ 4.4ghz

1920x1080, Ultra - MLAA Ultra, Most of the time it seems smooth at 60 to 90 fps, other times its randomly really ♥♥♥♥ty. Like 20 ~ 40...this happens with a lot of games though. Give it a patch or 2 and things should normalize.
