I hate these kind of replies but.. Check your firewall and antivirus programs so that they're not blocking the CoJ process. Check your ports. Hamachi also seems to mess with the multiplayer of CoJ, so you'll have to disable that from the control panel if you have it.

The steam version doesn't works with the MP on BiB.

You're saying they sell a game that is tagged as singeplayer AND multiplayer, but on the steam version the MP just doesn't work?

Because that is selling a false product, violating the trading standards code here in the UK.

I was just browsing this forum to find out why I can't connect to any game I find online, and this seems to be the only reason I can find; if it's steam it doesn't work.

I can see games in the list (only a few, but they are there), but it says "server connection timed out" or similar every time I try to join one.
