I wish steam would sell the CE edition and ship items separate

I really do like buying games from steam. But sometimes I like the CE items (like the dragon that comes with Skyrim and the map). I wish steam would sell the CE items and ship them separate from the game.

I heard that the game is steam works, but pre loading is nice :)


Anyone else ever wish you could buy the CE with items from steam, get the game from download and the items shipped separately?

The only problem is getting Bethesda to go through whatever efforts would be required to arrange it through steam

yeah but if they did that then they would also have to give everyone who preorderd from them a leather map (or whatever material it is of skyrim) and a gaming booklet. and quite frankly ships gets expensive and takes away the percentages of there profits.

What's the problem with just buying the CE from Amazon? It's a steamworks game.

again they "COULD" but thats extremely hypothetical as the people who already ordered would complain about having to pay it and not just getting a physical copy instead.
