Weird GUI / Font

A friend has just started playing css and he's having a problem with his gui and font and wondering if anyone knows what the problem is... Thanks,

He just installed the game yesterday so its not a custom Gui

Delete cstrike folder, and start the game.

Hes already tried that plus removing the font from his windows/font directory.

Try this guide (http://www.dodbits.com/dods/index.php/css/css-hud-and-gui-modification/79-the-messed-up-hud-issue), there is more than one font that controls that area, you may have to search the windows font folder for more than one font.

Go to ... C:\Windows\Fonts
The fonts that should not be there are...
cs.ttf
csd.ttf
cslogo.ttf
cstrike.ttf

If they are there...delete them!
