Hi guys. Now I'm sorry but the steering is a major flaw in this game. It is nowhere near as good as in F1 2010. I made all the modifications that I ran in the 2010 game and put them into the 2011 version and it just wouldn't respond like it did in 2010. A slight tap left on the steering wheel and it goes into full steering lock. Please bring back the 2010 steering system and we should be fine

F1 2010 wheel settings do not translate to F1 2011.
For instance linearity was perfect at 50% in 2010, in 2011 this translates to a linearity of 0%.
My initial impression was the same as yours until I figured this out.
So set linearity to 0%.
Steering Sat depends on the profile rotation you have set, I use 0% here also, with a rotation of 320% and it's 1:1.
Accelerator and brake Sat settings both need to be very low this time it seems too. In 2010 I used 100% Sat and it seemed perfect, but now I have to use 20%.

Steering is a quadrillion (real number, not exagerating) times better in '11 than '10. Fact.

It's OK, 2011 is a lot harder to handle than 2010. I totally understand why you blame it on the steering wheel.

Yeah, I agree also. I'd have to say it's not even remotely close...2011 is much improved.

Turn saturation down below 20% and you will be fine.

I think that ( like myself when i first started playinh 2011 ) people are getting really confused with the changes in the settings. The numbers almost are opposite from last year. Once you get how it works then you will see that 2011 is better then 2010 in every way. In fact I think they should have never come out with 2010 and just come out with this. It really is a world apart. I am a very harsh critic when it comes to racing titles also. TY codemasters for listening to us.
