what psu do you have? could be that or something overheating like an overclocked cpu maybe.

when my poor 6870 crossfire was subjected to crysis with a 500w psu it did noting but crash/reset. got a 750 watt psu run sweet as ever time.

I have manual set my gfx card fan speed to 80% all-time, and no crashes :)

Thanks anyway

clean your coolers and the cooler in your power supply.
Your over heating by the looks of it.

This is likely due to overheating. The CPU has a special feature that performs an auto shutdown just before the CPU reaches a critical and damaging temperature. This saves the CPU from being fried from temperature.

Clean up your pc case and fans and any cooling blocks. Make sure it is cooled efficient enough and you wont have any problems. Im running a HD 5830, after a few hours playing it didnt hit 65 degrees celcius.
