Unable to connnect [1] won't let me in

I can't seem to get the chance to log in. This only happens on the server which happens to have my characters. My friend who is sitting next to me on his computer can get into the server just fine. What the hell?

Not running an antivius or any sort of firewall...

i have this problem too, i was playing fine yesterday for 3 hours. Been trying to log in for half an hour.

The most annoying part is I can get into any other server but for some reason characters are server localized so I would have to start a whole new character.

I also got an exact copy of all the game files and pasted them into my computer from my friend's functional one essentially reinstalling with a verified working copy. What the hell?

I just installed the game on an entirely different computer. It allowed me in the first time but then I had some usb driver issues and needed to restart. When I did the game started giving me the same error on the new computer.

Meanwhile my friend plays with a ping of 22 on the same server using the same internet connection I have.

damn, i thought the east 1 server was just down...

I have been having the same problem. I wasn't able to connect to East 1 this morning, then I got on earlier in the afternoon. I just tried a few minutes ago, and couldn't connect again.

Apparently during that time server load was insane. I think that the obvious solution is to have a copy of each character sync'd to every server with a similar ping to avoid this. I could access the east 2 server no problem but that isn't where my character is.
