Wish I had something good to say about this game, it looks awesome. When I try to initiate it I get a black screen w/ the message - Xotic has shutdown and generated a QA report - and I'm returned to my desktop after hitting 'enter'. That's it, no info given to me as to what the problem is. I've tried to run it in 'normal' and 'sandbox' modes with no satisfaction. I can't imagine it's because my computer doesn't have enough resources to run it;
Alienware M17x - Win7 x64, Intel Core i7-2820QM, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M, IDT HD Audio CODEC/NVIDIA HD Audio.
I've uninstalled it and installed it again w/ no change in performance.
Some suggestions to get it running would be helpful and appreciated!
Thanks

I've sent the .dmp file to the game support site and will post their reply and possible fixes for anyone else having the same problem.

If the game shuts down after the intro movie, you might have your sound card at an incompatible sample rate. We're working on a fix, but in the meantime go to the Start menu in Win7 and type "Sound" to find the Sound control panel.
Then double-click the default device (it has a green check next to it). On the advanced tab, set the card to "2-channel, 24-bit, 44100 Hz".
This should clear things up until we get a fix implemented. Thank you!

If the game crashes right after you launch it, the problem is most likely due to a funky install of NVIDIA PhysX software. To fix it:
1. Exit Steam (including tray icon)
2. In Win7, open the "Programs and Features" control panel
3. Uninstall "NVIDIA PhysX System Software"
4. Re-install PhysX using the installer we provided in "\Steam\steamapps\common\xotic\redist\PhysX"
Please let me know if this works. Thanks!

Thank you Shaneluls, after reinstalling the Physx driver I managed to get to the 'start' screen for a change but it crashed afterwards. I went through my sound settings, changed those as per your suggestion and I'm playing a great Indie game!
