Am I just unlucky? I've just finished a season, and had a total of one wet race (wet from the start) and maybe two or three wet qualifying/practice sessions (again, raining from the start).
Where is the weather that changes mid race? I've heard so much about it, but not seen it.

Happened to me throughout the Australia weekend. First half of P1 was dry, began spitting midway through P1 and by the end it was raining pretty hard. I was on wets by the time P2 rolled in.

What distance are you playing at? I've completed 9 races in career mode at 50% and I've had 3 wet races and numerous wet practice and qualifying sessions. I think your comment should read "Am I just lucky" rather than "Am I just unlucky" as racing in the wet with all assists off vs pro AI is extremely tough. I think of the 3 wet races I had I placed 3rd 6th and 18th.
Also, when a race starts wet and raining but with Intermediate tyres on can be difficult if it stops raining as choosing the right time to switch to dry tyres isn't easily judged, at least for me!

My Spa race broke out in light rain and then proceeded to heavily rain which started in the dry. I ended up starting on options, then switched to inters and finally had to re-pit for the full wets.

I'm changing between 20% and 50% depending on the track. The one or two wet races I have had have been tough, but pretty linear, I want to scramble for tires as the rain starts falling, as Cyborgmatt had to.

One thing I noticed in F1 2010, which was a bit bizarre, was that you could have dry weather in Q1, full wet weather in Q2, and then fully dry again in Q3.. These sessions are supposed to be minutes apart.. Assuming it suddenly started pouring between Q1 and 2, how could it be dry again before Q3? :P
Hope they fixed this in 2011!
