Lvl 25 Can't buy & equip new weapons

For the past two days I have not been able to buy or equip new weapons like the M60. I have verified steam game files, and even went as far as power cycling my modem and router. Any ideas on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your config is not set to read only

Ok. I changed the permissions of all of the folders in the Steam directory associated with Black Ops, and it didn't work. :o

Go to

Steam/steamapps/common/call of duty black ops/players

Look for config_mp.cfg right click it and go

properties/general tab.

At the bottom make sure read only and hidden are not checked then click apply
