Hello, I simply had a question. I was wondering if I would be able to run Rage with this graphics card. ATI Radeon™ HD 6310
I can not provide much more information at the moment, as I am not on the computer I am talking about... But with my computer can run Dead Island full graphics, with no lag. Thanks in advance for your answers, I greatly appreciate them...

It will run but it will be extremly slow.

Are you sure? I know a little about graphics cards, but not much, also I have not had time to run system requirements lab on the computer, to see what parts of the graphics card would fail.
I know that it can run Dead Island, but I do not know how graphically demanding that game is compared to Rage.
So anyways, why would it run the game very slowly? What does the graphics card lack, that is required to run Rage effectively enough to enjoy the game. Thanks.

Can't find your card on the benchmark sites I've looked at. Are you sure about the number [6310]?:)
Also, is your comp. a desktop?

Its a laptop, and I will post more information about the card today after work. I will have access to the computer than.
It is not a netbook, and I am pretty sure it has dedicated graphics memory, not shared.
My laptop is a Gateway NV51B15u.

The full specs for Gateway NV51B15u are listed here;

It's a lower end laptop for office/surfing/multimedia. Not going to run most games out there.

Using the Passmark GPU Benchmark list, the 6310 scores ~200 points and gets ~2000 on 3dmark06.
I have a friend with a HD3760 that scores ~300 points on passmark and ~3100 on 3dmark06. Dead Island runs on it but it's very slow with everything on Low.
So I am guessing Rage will be even slower than Dead Island.

As I said in a previous post, I think. Might have been a different forum board. But my laptop can run Dead Island full graphics, perfectly. So if Rage runs slower than Dead Island, depending on how much, than I can run Rage medium, to low graphics.
In an hour or so I will have the specs of the computer posted here... So you can know all of the details about the graphics card. But it can run most games. On steam I have the following games. All run on Medium, to High graphical settings.
Empire: Total War (Medium)
Killing Floor (High)
Dead Island (High)
Shogun 2 Total War (Medium)
Medieval 2 Total War (High)
With those five games in mind, it should be able to run Rage medium, to low graphics, which is fine by me.

RAGE is supposed to be extremely optimized and the minimum specs are crazy low end.
I imagine you will probably get a better frame rate than with Dead Island.
