One tip from me, if you want to win in a cheap way then use Nagi =)

A small tip for the boss with the roses: When you destroy the roses, they turn all projectiles around them into gems, which can create a small gap in the attack for you to move through. I was on my last life after two continues, but I managed to beat the boss finally.

Is that where those wheels that fire complete circles come into play? If you kill them while slowdown is in effect (with Elixirel you just hit the mana action) their circle of bullets is destroyed as well.
