Tude innuendo

It's been kind of bugging me for a bit, but everything about Tude seems to be a running joke about nobs. His name is slang for one's wedding vegitable, his second weapon type is a huge overdeveloped arm, and the longest conversation I've seen him have was when he was hitting on the armour shop girl.

Seriously, is it just me, or is it actually intended?
