Server lag, disconnects, and other performance issues

Hi everyone! We've seen your posts about server performance issues and have been tuning the servers aggressively throughout the week to combat these issues.

Server performance has already been improved significantly, though if you continue to experience timeouts, severe lag, and unable to log in, please let us know here.

Keep in mind that you can use your Steam account to enter the login screen, but you must have a Petroglyph account in order to access the game directly and use Steam Achievements and exclusives!

Hey Berek,

Cheers for the swift response. I was having issues earlier when trying to add Petroglyph coins to my account... I assume with the server fixes this should be fine now? I hope I don't log in and find I've been charged for several bundles of cash :D

Still can't log in here. Says server is unavailable. BTW, i saw the thread on the official forums where a staff member was trying to push an unavailable server off on a users hardware, and that's just silly.

I do hope your regular customer service policies are not to blame the user every time YOUR servers can't handle the load of the number of users playing.

I'm not angry, and I'd love to give your game a chance, but that kind of behavior is pretty unacceptable from a support team.

If you have a dual core AMD machine, you should get this patch. There is a timing issue w/that CPU, and this AMD patch works around it. This can cause the server unavailable message. Let us know if this helps.

Where a staff member points out a specific hardware incompatability and links directly to a patch fix for it? Cause I can't see anything wrong with that

I will just paste what happened to me

I just downloaded this game and when I click to play, It appears the launcher window. It keeps "checking for updates" and nothing occurs. I have been waiting half hour and nothing...

I have tried;

- adding the .exe's of the file on the firewall exceptions
- disabling the antivirus
- disabling firewall
- reinstalling the whole game
- executing the game withouth steam (with steam off)
- restarting my computer
- verified the integrity of game cache
- defragment of cache files

But it doesn't fix it...

Have any idea how to repair this?

P.D.: My computer is a netbook, but it runs well a lot of games, like LoL. It's ASUS PX1500, 1,60ghz, 2 gb RAM, Intel GMA 450...

The server disconnect that is/was happening was for everyone at the time I read the thread. It was a server issue, and not something a patch would have been able to finish. yes I was a little hastey with what i said there, but I've seen some real terrible customer support, and some real good customer support. My apologies if i came across too hostile.

So i think thats an global Problem, because my friend has the same error. I hope it will be fied soon.

Seems that when there's a lot of ppl online there is tremendous lags...
Really annoying trying to play the game & especially in epic battles...
Cannot move... Cannot cast... Cannot do anything till one is killed...
Other main issue I find disheartening is the length of waiting time...
This especially when on is at lvl 40+... waited 1-2 hrs & still no game...
Happens so often that I'm leaving the game to play something else...
BUT... I love this game & graphics are great... so please do something...??

WELL... it happened again few times last night (Australia Time)...

Had so much lag that literally walking on one spot & was VERY easy target feeding opposition in 5v5... came to the stage that I was main target which really upset the rest of my team members..

This became real frustrating & abusive comments resulted directed at my playing abilities & my character level... HELP...

Please can you recommend something or solve this issues pls...

After the updater I click play and then the window for RoI appears but then closes back down wtf?

The login server is currently down. The devs are working on this. Don't uninstall, that isnt the issue. Those in game, you should be fine as long as you do not log out. Games are working normal. It is just the log-in server that is down. I will update everyone as soon as we have an ETA.
