Three times the game just closes itself on me during a great playthrough, one of which I unlocked Magdalene and got the acheivement, but when I got back in, it wasnt unlocked. >.<


Also another great thing that happened but closed on em..

I found the teleporter item, and during one of the teleports took me to what seemed like a disconnected room, full of coins and items, and in the middle was a guy holding a sign that read "Im an error". Whats up with that? And it crashed before I could screenshot.. ~cries~

Update- ARGHH!! I beat it with Maggy and Unlocked Kain, and it crashs! Losing all progress ~headdesks repeatedly..~

This there's supposed to be a patch coming this weekend which should correct alot of issuesincluding some of the crash issues such as the alt-tab one if not hopefully all

Yeah the save game deletion issue is fixed in the new patch hopefully Steam get's around to issuing it

as for crashes try playing on lower settings such as med or low and windowed and if you still have crashes on those settings then you can try and send a message to Edmund's twitter(as I don't know if he checks the forums here) @EdmundMcMillen as he said on his twitter thinks he may pin pointed the cause but he's needs more information and if the crashes still happen if your playing on the lowered settings and windowed mode

Also if you don't know how to change the settings F is to go to full screen or back to windowed and hitting esc during the game will open the options there you can play with detail settings

Edmund suggested playing on Low or Medium settings for now (located in the options menu. Press "P" in game) and see if that reduces or eliminates the crashing.
