Fix in place for both 0 and -1 RPC errors

Are there other causes of the RPC 0 error that are not yet addressed? From reading these threads the issue was fixed, but I still have not been able to login.

As of 2:50 pm EST the error is still there. I know my password is right too because if I type it wrong on purpose I get an invalid user/password error.

I get the RPC 0 every time, even after the posts indicating that the problem was fixed. I never played the game before and downloaded the game and created my account today, so I'm not sure why it's different for me.

Well i can now get in but the promised goodies arent evident. Is that because I registered while the problems persisted and it didnt recognise me as connected to steam?

When I say registered I mean creating an account from the game after launching it from steam but while the error persisted.

I came back a couple hours later and this problem never did get fixed. Are other people still getting this error? I've yet to have a single successful login in game.

Problem solved. The in-game login fails if you have the & character in your password. After about 5 tries in a short time frame I confirmed this.

If your account password has a & character you cannot login. If you change your password then login with a password that doesn't have & it works. Looks like a bug to me. Anyway, finally off to play this game.


Edit: For clarity: I changed my password to include & and to not include & several times and every time the game would fail with the & password and work without it. Since it was such a short time frame and would toggle between working and broken so fast, it seems to me that the login screen isn't handling some ascii characters in passwords properly.

Yes. The Rise of Immortals account password seems to not work properly when it has a '&' character when I was logging from steam.

So, this seems to be confirmed by some quick testing here. We'll make sure this is fixed in our next update (due early next week). Thanks for sleuthing this out!
