Game Saving - Is It Intentional?

So I was playing Binding of Isaac for a while, after finally finding a workaround for all the crashing it did.

I got a good bit of a collection going on, unlocked all the charactes, etc. When I left the game, and came back a few hours later, all my stuff was still there. I figured it was great that they finally gave it a save feature, but then I exit the game to play another, came back, and all my stuff is gone again.

So is this game able to save your stuff after you've beaten the game before shutting off, or was that a glitch? Or is the glitch being able to save at all? :confused:

Game is supposed to save stuff, yes.

You may have a program that periodically wipes your Flash cache. I saw some thread in this section that described the various ways to get the various programs/browsers/add-ons that have that feature to exempt the game's save files from deletion.

Edit: It seems the patch that went live late today has supposedly changed the game's save files so they won't get cleared by said clean-up tools
