When I first heard about it I was like "Meh, another 'revolutionary' tower defense game"

Then I was a trailer and I was like "hmmm, I'll have to look into this come release time"

I played the demo and was like "MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

*clicks add to cart*

This is a well made game, plenty of humor, and the perfect blend of action and strategy. And, when you've accrued a ton of money, its fun just sitting back and watching your traps do all the work for you

5 out of 5 :D GREAT JOB! so far of course xD

I'm pretty much in the same boat, the demo does a great job of showing off the basic gameplay.

But I'll also be buying Dungeon Defenders for the coop mayhem, thank god they dont release on the same day ;)

they are rushing this out because at the end of the month Dungeon defenders is released which is pretty much a more cartoonish version of this...but multiplayer

I disagree. DD should have been out months and months ago. They blew their window of opportunity. Now the true champion is on our doorstep. Orcs Must Die! is the one to buy. Save DD for a $2 sale early next year.

Dungeon Defenders hardly missed their window of opportunity. Do you not see the "No multiplayer - no buy"-complaints? Or the "Only single-player, better wait for dungeon defenders"-comments? Not to mention there's a very few games in this genre that even offers coop.

Orcs Must Die! and Dungeon defenders are both hero/tower defense-games, but they focus on completely different things. I'm sure both games will find their audience and do well in sales.

Personally I would still get them both, even if Orcs Must Die! had an multiplayer, simply because I enjoy games with tower defense elements.

Maybe it's just the bad taste for waiting for months and months on DD. The only thing they focused on was their phone game and a deal with Microsoft. Honestly, with the length of preorders they have had on another site it is sort of a sick joke. I will believe DD is a real PC game when I see it on a PC (yes I played the demo ages ago and actually liked it a lot).

I agree get them both. Orcs now and DD whenever there is a sale. DD is the only game I have actually felt the devs (no matter the reason) gave the shaft to the PC players. I just don't care about that game anymore. Wow, I sound like the PC elitists I despise so much. See what DD has done to me!?

EDIT: And the 'no multiplayer - no buy' complaints - this game was never sold as a multiplayer game. How can you complain about something that was never advertised. Sure, it's okay to add to a wish list - but to hold that over the devs is kinda silly.
