Your best bet is to say the 11th normally a holding period will be about a 3-5 working days or even up to two weeks.

Tell you the truth I'm glad they did this because if they released like Dead island and had the fail launch it can really hurt your game's player base.

My guess is next week. Imo, the true reason of delay was to avoid Rage, and there is no big title coming next week.

Nothing is ever 100% ready mate always a bug or a glitch. The post also stated that the game was under last minute review. That means bugs/glitches check and game testers.

Someone on a facepunch thread (Who supposedly is head of a game reviewing website) mentioned that the launch party was set up for the 6th, so he is predicting it will come by then.

Its moving around a bit in the Steam store.
No longer on the New Releases, but its 3rd on the coming soon list. If that means anything or not remains to be seen, yet its past 7th and before the 12th on that list. And they tend to put them in order of release.

12th of Oct is a date someone pulled out of the dark crevice of their rear end, that's not the correct release date at all. However, don't expect it to be out within two weeks. So, somewhere between the 25th of July and the 11th of October then! :D

Again, we've been trying to get this out as fast as the pipeline has allowed, we've been working really hard with development, then bug swatting and then submission processing. It's been a long wait, and we apologize for that - but this cake is not a lie!
