don't have game, so just shortcut to metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/ancients-of-ooga). Its XBOX version, no PC version tho.

Ancients of Ooga is a playful but imperfect puzzle platformer with a difficulty curve that makes it best suited for novice players.

Sounds I will pass.

Metacritic is stupid.

I'd like to hear from someone here who's played the game

There's a demo. Explains the basics of the game.

Guess it's fun, looks and plays a lot like their other game cloning clyde and I enjoyed that.

I guess it's a game that is enjoyable but get's a bit chaotic and boring near the end.

Reminds me a little of abe's oddysee, but way less serious.

Wow, ADIL's 0 points user review on Metacritic has almost meme-worthy qualities:

The fact that game has no meaning and stupid The tradition of the Crash, but in a very stupid Do not advise buying one ... And sounds which have no meaning and fees as if it will not understand anything ?!

I feel like my brain just shut down and rebooted after reading this ... what did I come here for again?

I bought the game sometime ago and it's funny enough imo. By the way, it's multilingual, not only English.

Cruga,

Sadly there is no multi-player in Ancients of Ooga for PC, as there is for XBLA. As mentioned by other posters, I would highly suggest trying out the demo and seeing for yourself if it is a game for you.

This first impressions video is spot on, the game is easy but is rather enjoyable. X360 pad works flawlessly, and you can set a custom resolution through a .ini file, and setup fullscreen. I love this game. Well worth even the normal $10 price.

Going to be picking this up this sale. I find the demo a lot of fun. Much more so than the higher regarded (on metacritic at least) demo of Cloning Clyde for me personally.

this is actually really cool, and a steal if you get the current indie bundle, both this and cloning clyde come with steam codes, and the other games are fun too (just not on steam)

Both pretty fun platform game, levels and concepts get a bit repetative and boring near the end, but def. worth the few coins it does now.

I would recommend this game, it's a lot of fun and great for just jumping in and playing away for a while. The game is a wee bit easy but the addictive gameplay and humour will make you forget that as you'll want to give another level a go and keep going.

Well done to the developers a nice looking, polished piece of fun.

It's an enjoyable platformer with some clever ideas, albeit a bit on the easy side.

The biggest flaw in my eyes is not the gameplay, that's solid and polished enough, it's the graphics or better the way they are presented:

It's "locked" into a 720p (1280720) window (!) and there is no real full screen option that I'm aware of
All one can do is stretch the window to one's own resolution, which doesn't render the 3D at that resolution but just makes the result jaggy, blurry and generally terribly unpleasant to look at.

EDIT: Apparently there is a well hidden fullscreen option (settings utility inside game's folder incomprehensibly not linked to from the Steam client), 1280720 is still the maximum resolution and it still looks blurry and generally bad even in full screen because of it.

I have to at least comment, while I haven't bought the game (am thinking about it) and do see some error reports in this and the Cloning one, it's nice to see the developers at least paying attention to customers. The jerk developers who did Capsized won't respond to emails.
