How do I beat the metal guy in level 2?

I can't figure out how to get past his guard. Help?

You mean the armored knight? You have to basically run around him just as he's about to attack and then attack him from behind.

[Levi]

I usually just did a jump attack over his front, but switched directions just as I was about to hit. It usually hit 50% of the time.
